Just bought a used JD 855 from local dealer for $16,000. It had been traded in by a residential owner who kept it in a barn, so it is quite clean. It has 560 hours, a model 51 loader & bucket, a model 7 backhoe, and a 60" mowing deck. The dealer is going to completely service all fluids and check everything over, but it all seems in very good condition. I spent a fair amount of time on this site looking at posts, so I think I paid a reasonable price, but I would be very interested in other opinions. Thanks for any response! Bud Reed

That seems like a fair price to me. I have a 855 with 70A loader 60" mid mower. I paid 14,500 when it had 225 hours. If my tractor had about 560 hours, I would have paid up to about 13k in my area. That leaves 3k for your model 7 hoe. That's a good price for a well-kept model 7 considering that they go for over 6k new. ....
